Say what you want about gamerscore, but some people love it and there are times where it’s used in interesting ways. This is one such occurrence, as Microsoft has just announced that it will be holding a score-based competition for Canadian gamers, with Xbox One X consoles and controllers up for grabs.
Starting today, those who enter will have their earned gamerscore tracked and calculated, until the contest closes on October 22nd. After that point, the five (Canadian) gamers who’ve earned the most points will be gifted with brand spanking new Xbox One X consoles courtesy of Microsoft.
If you don’t have a lot of time to game, but still wish to enter, there is reason to do so. That’s because every entry guarantees you a chance at winning a controller. Five of those will be given away, as well, though that draw will be done at random.
