Today is the day that many Zombies fans have been looking forward to, as Call of Duty: Black Ops III has just been bolstered with a bevy of classic goodness from the popular multiplayer mode’s past.
Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles resurrects eight of the game type’s most beloved maps, spanning a total of three different games. This includes locations from Black Ops, Black Ops II and World at War, all of which are sure to carry nostalgia for longtime fans.

Call of Duty: World at War: Nacht der Untoten (Abandoned Bunker), Verruckt (Wittenau Sanitorium) and Shi No Numa (Jungle Swamp)
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten (Theater of the Dead), Ascension (Soviet Cosmodrome), Shangri-la (Exotic Jungle Shrine) and Moon (Lunar Base)
Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Origins (WWI France)
Each of these digital fan favourites has been remade from the ground up, in order to bring them up to date. This means that you can look forward to enhanced lighting, updated character models and improved audio. They’ll all also support the use of custom weapons, which were introduced in the third Black Ops game.
Those who purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles over the next few days will be able to take part in a double XP event and earn extra Liquid Divinium rewards.
