Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus gets a story trailer, adds a collector’s edition

The year is 1961, and the place is the United States of America. Chaos reigns, bullets fly and the Nazi regime is still alive and well. This is Wolfenstein, specifically Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which was just announced a couple of nights ago.

Today, we’re able to bring you a closer look at the action-packed shooter, thanks to a new story trailer that also features developer commentary. Through it, you’ll learn more about the game, the alternate timeline in which it takes place, and the state of America within it. There’s also talk about B.J. Blazkowicz, who’s beaten but not broken and will continue to do anything to free his homeland from the Nazi party and its terrible torments.

Along with this new trailer, Bethesda has also unleashed details regarding The New Colossus‘ collector’s edition, and has done so with a very campy, 1970’s style commercial. One that features action figures of some of Hitler’s worst allies, before it cuts to B.J. himself, who’s ready to wreak havoc in doll form.

This special version will include the following items, in addition to a copy of the game on your platform of choice.

1/6″ “Terror Billy” action figure
6 action figure accessories
Elite Hans collectible box
Limited edition steelbook
Pocket manual and poster

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus can be yours starting on October 27th of this year.
