In 2018, The Crew 2 will expand its universe, by introducing boats and planes to its action-packed menagerie of vehicular racing. Details are scarce at this point in time, but what we’ve seen has looked awfully impressive, especially in comparison to the middling first game.
As one of the biggest announcements at today’s Ubisoft E3 presser, The Crew 2‘s theatrical reveal remains one of its most memorable moments. It’s also one of our most anticipated games out of that bunch.
Shown in the included gameplay trailer is all of the engine-based action that players can look forward to in this sequel. There are some close quarters aerial stunts, fast-paced sprints along narrow rivers and across open oceans, and pulse-pounding ground races featuring sports cars, F1 vehicles, off-road buggies and dirtbikes. Yes, circuit racing will be included this time around, and it looks like it’ll be available in different flavours, including sports car and F1 variants.
Stay tuned for more information pertaining to The Crew 2 as it develops further.
