Need for Speed is one of EA’s longest running franchises, and with good reason: the series has continued to build on its tried-and-true racing format to bring new innovation to the franchise.
In 2015, developer Ghost Games is starting all over again with a new reboot of Need for Speed, bringing together all the things we loved from past games in the series into a single, congruent form.
Police chases are back, rival races, and there are five new ways to play: Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw, each of them drawing on experiences players loved from past Need for Speed games.
The game is also said to feature the usual assortment of exotic and domestic supercars, including Porsche, BMW, any number of Nissan’s fancy coupes, and the (relatively) new Subaru BRZ.
Need for Speed launches on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Pre-orders are available now.
