Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
In the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End demo being given behind closed doors at E3 this year, Naughty Dog treated fans to an extended demo of the game.
The demo began in the same way as the portion of the game shown at Sony’s Press Conference, but continued well past the point when Drake slams through the wood planks next to the bridge. From there, he is put through absolute hell, dodging cars, trucks, and motorcycles, each with enemies spewing countless rounds at him and his brother Sam.
The demo wrapped with a sort of post-credits sequence which had Nathan, Sam, and Sully laughing as they talked about the riches they were planning to find in Libertalia, an island of treasure. As they enter the room, the laughter and happiness quickly fades, realizing that someone is in the room going through Drake’s things, studying the maps and charts on the desk.
She turns around.
“How’s the Malaysia job going, Nate? Seems like you’re a hair off course.”
Oh, Elena. How Drake has done you wrong.
We’ll find out in 2016.
