As promised, Microsoft gave a first look at their highly anticipated car sim, Forza Motorsport 6 during their E3 conference today. Along with demonstrating the outstanding power of the game’s graphics, now running at native 1080p and 60fps on the Xbox One hardware, Microsoft confirmed that Forza Motorsport 6 will launch on September 15th, 2015.
Earlier in the year, Microsoft announced Forza Motorsport 6 in conjunction with a sponsorship deal struck with car manufacturer, Ford. As part of the deal, Forza Motorsport 6 will feature Ford’s prototype new Ford GT supercar, along with all-new makes of other vehicles, including the Ford F-150 Raptor, and Ford Mustang GT350. Current Ford president, Henry Ford III stood alongside Microsoft to hype up the game during the Xbox keynote as well, with all-new weather effects confirmed as both a visual and gameplay addition to Forza Motorsport 6.
