On the heels of another highly successful $0.99 Flash Sale on the PlayStation Store last week, Sony is hosting yet another sales promotion for this week!
They’re trying a new trick as well. This time, Sony is presenting bundles that will allow players to get ahold of two games for the price of one, though the games are very specific. The sale applies to both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, though the PlayStation Vita selections consist entirely of games originally designed for the last-gen PlayStation Portable. Sadly, PlayStation 4 is once again being left out of the incentives entirely.
The bundled games are a mix between digital download games and full triple-A titles designed for retail. We’ll list the bundles below, along with their prices. You can take advantage of these combinations until this coming Monday, June 21st.
First, the PlayStation 3 bundles:
– Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons/How to Survive – $14.99
– Bionic Commando Rearmed/Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 – $9.99
– Narco Terror/Sacred Citadel – $9.99
– NBA Jam: On Fire Edition/NFL Blitz – $14.99
– Max Payne 3: Complete Edition/Red Dead Redemption – $29.99
– Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon/Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – $14.99
– Babel Rising/Outland – $14.99
– From Dust/I Am Alive – $14.99
– Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes/Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD – $19.99
Next, the PlayStation Portable games that you can get together on your PlayStation Vita:
– Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories/Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories – $19.99
– Corpse Party/Corpse Party: Book of Shadows – $19.99
Our personal recommendations for PlayStation 3 owners are the Max Payne 3/Red Dead Redemption bundle and the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes/Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD bundle, which both offer two excellent games for the price of just one. For PlayStation Vita owners, definitely invest in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories/Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories if you haven’t already.
There are other great games that are part of this sale, though many of them are bundled with lesser counterparts. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and Outland are all great digital download offerings, though you could just as easily buy them standalone if you’re that interested, since the games they’re bundled with aren’t quite as compelling.
