There’s no confirmation for this news yet, but it appears that The Last of Us will be coming to PlayStation 4 this summer, a year after its original release on PlayStation 3.
According to a NeoGAF user, Sercan Sulun, PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, says that the game will be “released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”
Aside from The Order: 1886 and Driveclub, no triple-A titles have been announced for PlayStation for 2014. Re-releasing The Last Of Us, reportedly including the DLC content for the game, Left Behind, could be a (partial) solution to a dwindling quality games supply.
Take a look at our review of The Last Of Us, and we’ll let you know if Sony responds to the news that Joel and Ellie will be coming to PlayStation 4. Just don’t expect any Project Morpheus functionality.
