If you’re excited for Respawn Entertainment’s highly-anticipated online shooter, Titanfall then you’ll be happy to know that an early access beta is just a couple of days away! As rumoured, Titanfall will host a closed multiplayer beta on February 14th, in case you don’t have a significant other demanding your time that day.
The beta will be available for PC and Xbox One, though is unfortunately not being held for Xbox 360. This could be because the Xbox 360 port of Titanfall is being handled by a different developer, Bluepoint Games, best known for PlayStation 3 HD remasters, God of War Collection and ICO + Shadow of the Colossus Collection, as well as Konami’s HD remasters of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Sign-ups for the beta are being held at Titanfall.com. Simply enter some basic information and indicate which platform you want, and, if you’re chosen, you’ll be E-mailed an early access code sometime over the next few days.
PC players should bear in mind however that they will need an Origin account to participate in Titanfall’s PC beta. This won’t be necessary for Xbox One players however. In either case, it also won’t be necessary to have a pre-order in place for the game. You just have to indicate interest in the beta and hope you receive a code.
Titanfall’s beta is described as a, “Small slice of gameplay” by Respawn Entertainment, and will hold sign-ups until the beta begins on February 14th. After that, access codes will arrive no later than February 17th.
The final product of Titanfall will release for Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360 on March 11th for North America, March 13th for Australia, and March 14th for the U.K.
Eggplante will continue to arm your Titanfall news, as it’s assembled.
