It’s not often that Canada gets singled out for exclusive Xbox promotions, but if a recent teaser video is to be believed, the Great White North could be getting some added incentive to invest in Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen console, Xbox One.
Details are being revealed today, October 30th, but for now, you can check out the tease here:
A blurb of text at the bottom claims that whatever this mysterious incentive is, it aims to “source” the power of the Canadian community to provide rewards for Xbox gamers. We’re not sure what this means, but it sounds a bit like a Canadian-exclusive variation on the Xbox Live Rewards program that has already been in place for years on Xbox 360. The video doesn’t provide any coherent insight, but that’s likely the point.
Regardless, we won’t have long to wait for details, so in the meantime, feel free to speculate about what ‘One Source’ may mean, and why Canada seems to be enjoying it alone.
Xbox One launches in Canada and the U.S. on November 22nd.
