This is a bizarre, yet oddly fitting, move for Harrison Ford. He has officially signed on to the cast of Anchorman 2!
It might be easy to step into the role as he already played a news anchor in Morning Glory, alongside Diane Keaton and Rachel McAdams.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story that Han Solo Harrison Ford would play a legendary newscaster like Tom Brokaw in the film which began shooting this month. We’d also like to see him reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars film, but we’re not sure we can be too picky.
E! Online has already grabbed a spy shot of Ford and co-star Will Ferrell walking on set (below), as well as a shot of Ferrell and returning cast member Christina Applegate.
