Sony likes to offer up discounts on its games and accessories. They just finished up their Play Days promotion, and are now offering a steep discount on 13 PlayStation 3 titles from their library to celebrate 2013.
For most users, you’re looking at a 50% discount off the titles listed below, but the kicker is Sony’s amazing PlayStation Plus subscription which will get you a total of 75% off the titles. And these aren’t small titles, either. We’re looking at the list and it includes games like LittleBigPlanet Karting, Jet Set Radio, and The Unfinished Swan (click through for our review of each). In fact, the lowest priced game on the list is for one of Sony’s biggest franchises, Jak and Daxter.
The promotion is only on for another couple of days, ending on January 28th, but you can make sure to take advantage of it now by grabbing anything you want right from your browser. The company has opened up its Sony Entertainment Network online store, where you can buy and queue up downloads for your PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita so that they begin the next time you fire up the system.
The store is probably our favourite thing that Sony has done since the Vita itself, actually. It has a very simple but functional design and makes great use of the space on the screen. It also isn’t limited to gaming as it combines television shows and movies into the fold of its pages.
