For just ten bucks, you can get a whole whack of new content for Borderlands 2, regardless of whether you play it on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or your PC.
This is actually the third of four pieces of planned downloadable content, this instalment outrageously titled Sir Hammerlock\’s Big Game Hunt. Leave it to Borderlands 2 to go a bit ridiculous with their titles.
Of course, if you picked up the past two entries in the DLC series – and plan on picking up the fourth – it would\’ve been wise to grab the season pass that 2K Games made available shortly after the game first launched. Regardless, $10 isn\’t too much to pay for a content pack that is supposed to add another four to six hours of gameplay.
The new content went live yesterday, and Gearbox is sticking by their intent to release the last piece of the DLC puzzle by June of this year. Of course, the first three packs were released within months of the original game, so they could be giving themselves plenty of extra time, or they\’re planning on delivering a massive content update in four or five months to blow us all away.
If you have to have every piece of Borderlands 2 DLC, go grab it now. Otherwise, you might want to check out the expansion\’s trailer below and read IGN\’s review first.
