If you head on over to the Electronic Entertainment Expo’s website today, you might notice that registration for the three-day long event in June has gone live for attendees.
Exhibitor and Media registration is not active yet, but we expect this to change in the coming weeks if the group is following a similar schedule to the past few years.
From E3’s official website:
E3 is the world’s premier trade show for computer and video games and related products. The show is owned by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the U.S. association dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of the companies, publishing interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and the Internet. For more information, please visit www.E3Expo.com or www.TheESA.com.
E3 takes place June 11-13, 2013, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
E3 draws tens of thousands of professionals to experience the future of interactive entertainment. The most influential people leading the most innovative companies in the industry attend E3 to see groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products for computers, video game consoles, handheld systems, mobile and social, and the Internet.
The show will run from June 11 through 13 at the Los Angeles Convention Centre in downtown LA. It’ll be interesting to see how the show changes this year as a major part of the convention centre is under construction and will not be complete for a few years. Will the crowd flow into outdoor booths set up outside the convention centre? There’s a good chance of that, given that it has happened the last few years, although now we’re talking about an entire hall of the convention centre being unavailable, so it’ll be interesting to note how that changes things.
We’ll be reporting from E3 2013, and hard as it is to believe, December 9th marks the halfway point between E3 2012 and E3 2013. By this time next week, we’ll be closer to the next Electronic Entertainment Expo than we are to the last one!
Of course, we’re super stoked about E3, and we’re mad bloggers when we’re there with booth tours, interviews, game impressions, tons of photos, and of course, report cards on all the big press conferences. Stay tuned to our Twitter and Facebook for all the latest about E3 2013!
It’s exciting to note that this post is also the first in our new category for E3 2013!
